Terms & conditions

Effective date: September 27, 2026

My Pest Crew Corp. | 2708 W Lunt Ave #405, Chicago, IL 60645 | (773) 572-5661 | info@mypestcrew.com

1. Scope, booking acceptance, and accepted changes

These Terms & Conditions apply to pest-control services provided by My Pest Crew Corp. ("My Pest Crew," "we," "us," or "our") and to use of our website.

A booking requires express agreement between My Pest Crew and the customer on the scope, included visits, price, payment timing, appointment details, applicable fees, follow-up conditions and other material terms. Browsing our website, creating a customer record or submitting an inquiry does not create a booking or authorize a charge.

Booking-specific terms override these general Terms only when presented before or at acceptance and expressly accepted. Later invoices, payment requests and service reports cannot introduce material changes without the customer's express acceptance, unless required by law.

Booking details and these Terms may be presented electronically. Acceptance must be affirmative and tied to the documents presented; silence, delivery confirmation or an email open is not acceptance.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.

2. Purchased scope, visits, and results

The booking identifies the covered pests, service address and property or units, interior and/or exterior areas, work, included visits or frequency, and relevant exclusions. Scheduling pest control does not mean that every pest or every part of the property is covered. Service may be a single visit, a package of visits, or recurring service, as agreed.

Payment covers the agreed work and visits, not unlimited treatment or permanent pest elimination. Additional visits or continuing coverage must be expressly included or separately agreed; continuing coverage does not itself guarantee that future pest activity will be eliminated.

Additional pests, units, areas or services normally require a separate appointment. Any addition requires company authorization under Section 7 and customer acceptance of the scope and price before work begins. Same-day additions also require office confirmation that the schedule permits them; technicians are not required to extend appointments.

Results can depend on the severity of pest activity, access, preparation, building shell conditions, structural gaps, foundation voids, neighboring or shared-property activity, weather, property use, and other conditions affecting the serviced property. These factors do not excuse My Pest Crew from performing the agreed work.

3. Included follow-up eligibility

This section applies only when the purchased service includes a follow-up.

My Pest Crew determines the advised follow-up timeframe and coordinates the appointment with the customer. The included follow-up must be performed within the applicable eligibility window and remains tied to the original accepted scope.

If a customer misses an included follow-up, changes it too late, or cannot provide service-ready access as described in Sections 5 and 6 and the booking-disclosed fee applies, that fee covers one replacement follow-up performed within the remaining applicable eligibility window. A second treatment charge is not added for that same replacement follow-up.

Paying or owing the fee does not extend eligibility. An emergency extension requires My Pest Crew's approval and may not extend more than 10 calendar days beyond the end of the advised timeframe.

After the original eligibility window or an expressly approved extension expires, a later visit is a new, separately charged service.

If a delay is caused by My Pest Crew, the customer does not lose follow-up eligibility because of that company-caused delay. If a customer requests the replacement while still eligible but My Pest Crew has no available appointment before the window ends, we will honor the earliest replacement appointment we offer, with no additional treatment charge beyond the applicable disclosed fee. If the customer declines available appointments within the eligibility window, the original deadline remains in effect unless an emergency extension is expressly approved. Protection for My Pest Crew scheduling delays is separate from the emergency-extension limit.

4. Payment and accounting

Payment is due according to the amount and timing accepted for the booking. Available payment methods are communicated through the booking or payment request.

If an amount due under the accepted booking remains unpaid, My Pest Crew may pause further service after notifying the customer of the amount due and what is required to resume. A pause does not automatically forfeit an unused prepaid balance. Any effect on an included follow-up deadline must be disclosed and accepted in advance; a payment pause does not create an undisclosed forfeiture or late fee.

Saved payment information does not provide blanket permission to charge. My Pest Crew obtains permission before charging a saved payment method unless the customer has separately authorized the specific charge arrangement for that transaction.

If service ends before all accepted work is performed, My Pest Crew will account for completed authorized work, any applicable disclosed fees, payments already received, and any unused prepaid balance. Any amount due is determined from that accounting, the accepted agreement, and applicable law.

5. Appointment changes, missed visits, and access

Late cancellation, late rescheduling, a missed appointment, and inability to provide service-ready access receive the same booking-disclosed unsuccessful-visit fee. This includes failure to complete previously provided preparation requirements when that failure prevents the booked treatment. The amount and circumstances triggering the fee must be disclosed before booking acceptance. We do not stack overlapping cancellation, missed-appointment, no-access, or preparation fees for the same unsuccessful visit.

To cancel or reschedule, customers may call or text My Pest Crew at (773) 572-5661 or email info@mypestcrew.com.

Cancellation or rescheduling requires at least 24 hours' notice before the agreed arrival window begins. Requests must also arrive during the business hours published on our website for the day you contact us. The 24 hours run continuously, not only during business hours.

Business hours may change seasonally. A message sent outside the published business hours is treated as received when My Pest Crew next opens. If the 24-hour deadline falls outside published business hours, the request must arrive during the preceding open business period. Chicago local time applies. A timely delivered text or email does not become late because staff responds later.

Customers must arrange entry and have the property ready for the booked work during the agreed arrival window. Entry instructions, codes, building restrictions, and the contact responsible for providing access must be communicated before the appointment. If a tenant, family member, manager, or other person will admit the technician, the customer must ensure that person knows about the appointment, has the necessary authority, and can provide access.

Someone being inside the property does not provide access if the technician cannot enter or begin the agreed work. When the technician arrives within the agreed window and access is unavailable, we attempt contact and allow 15 minutes from arrival for access to be provided. If access remains unavailable, the technician may leave and the disclosed fee applies. The technician is not required to find an alternative contact or extend the appointment while entry or preparation arrangements are made. Unsafe circumstances may require immediate departure.

If a late change, missed appointment, or lack of service-ready access involves an included follow-up, Section 3 controls the replacement follow-up and eligibility window.

These customer consequences do not apply when the appointment problem or delay is caused by My Pest Crew.

Customers may end recurring service by calling or texting (773) 572-5661 or emailing info@mypestcrew.com. Unless the accepted plan expressly provides otherwise, there is no minimum commitment or separate plan-termination fee. Once the request is received under the business-hours rule above, no further visits will be scheduled or recurring charges incurred for future service. The request also cancels any remaining scheduled visits; an already scheduled visit remains subject to the disclosed late-change rule. Amounts due for completed work, applicable disclosed fees, and unused prepaid balances are handled under Section 4.

6. Customer information, preparation, and property conditions

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate service and billing information, including the address, ZIP code, property size, number of units, and requested treatment areas.
  • Having authority to arrange the service and securing required building, owner, tenant, or other access permissions.
  • Arranging service-ready access as described in Section 5 and completing preparation communicated before the visit.
  • Securing pets and arranging for occupants to leave when required by the treatment instructions provided.
  • Disclosing relevant health, safety, access, or property conditions and following the preparation, safety, re-entry, and aftercare instructions provided for the work.

If the property or requested work differs materially from the information used to arrange service, My Pest Crew may revise the scope and price, reschedule, or decline work that cannot be performed as booked. Additional work or charges require agreement before proceeding. A wasted-trip or unsuccessful-visit charge for inaccurate information applies only if that circumstance and the fee were disclosed and accepted in advance; it cannot first be introduced on arrival.

Customers must complete the preparation instructions provided before the appointment, including moving furniture and belongings where instructed so treatment areas are accessible. My Pest Crew technicians do not move furniture or personal belongings to complete customer preparation. Incomplete preparation or inaccessible areas may limit inspection or treatment. If this prevents the booked work, the previously disclosed unsuccessful-visit fee under Section 5 applies; minor omissions that do not prevent treatment do not automatically trigger a fee.

Customers must follow the preparation, safety, re-entry, and aftercare instructions provided for their service. To the extent permitted by law, My Pest Crew is not responsible for harm caused by a customer’s failure to follow those instructions. This does not exclude responsibility for harm caused by My Pest Crew’s own negligent or unlawful conduct.

If failure to follow provided instructions limits or compromises treatment and creates a need for additional work, that additional work is not automatically included at no charge. We will explain the affected work and any proposed additional scope and price. Any effect on an included follow-up or other service commitment must relate to the affected work and the accepted booking terms; it does not automatically cancel unrelated commitments.

Mouse and rat feeding stations and traps supplied as part of the purchased treatment belong to the customer. Replacement stations or traps and additional units are charged separately; they are not included in the regular service-visit price. The applicable price must be communicated and accepted before supply or installation. This does not impose a replacement charge for damage caused by My Pest Crew or remove rights relating to defective equipment.

Customers must not move, open, discard, or alter installed stations, monitors, or treatment materials without My Pest Crew's instructions, and should inform household members and contractors of this requirement. Report damaged or missing equipment promptly. Additional work needed because treatment or equipment was disturbed is not automatically included at no charge. Any equipment replacement charge must follow previously disclosed and accepted terms and documented circumstances; missing equipment alone does not establish customer responsibility. No charge applies for My Pest Crew's own error under this provision.

Property conditions outside the accepted pest-control work can affect results. My Pest Crew may document relevant conditions and recommend separate correction when appropriate.

If an accepted service includes temporary blocking of a small accessible opening, that work is not permanent structural sealing or repair. Permanent sealing and larger repair work remain separate from the pest-control service. My Pest Crew does not perform wall cutting or structural repair.

7. Technician decisions, customer participation, and conduct

Within the agreed scope, My Pest Crew's technician determines the products, methods, application locations, and procedures used to perform the work, subject to applicable labeling, law, safety requirements, and licensed supervision where required.

Only a manager or the technician's licensed supervisor may authorize changes to scope, prices, payment terms, fees, eligibility or company policies, including waivers and exceptions. Technicians must refer such requests and decline out-of-scope work until authorized. Customer acceptance is also required for material booking changes. These rules apply to all bookings and preserve the technician's professional decisions within scope and duty to stop unsafe work.

My Pest Crew may decline or stop work that is unsafe, outside the accepted scope, or inconsistent with product labeling or applicable requirements. Where appropriate, we will explain what must change before service can proceed or offer a revised arrangement.

Customers may report pest activity, provide property information, ask reasonable questions, make complaints, raise health or safety concerns, disclose relevant conditions, and refuse treatment.

Treatment interference means conduct that actually obstructs the work, including handling equipment or products without permission, physically obstructing treatment, or continuing to direct application locations, products, or procedures after the technician has explained how the agreed service will be performed.

For interference that does not present abuse or an immediate safety concern, the technician will give a direct warning and ask the customer to stop. Continued interference after that warning may end the current service.

Abusive or unsafe conduct may cause work to stop immediately. Abusive conduct may also result in permanent refusal of future service.

If work ends early, the accounting rules in Section 4 apply.

8. Service communications

Appointments use the agreed arrival window unless a different arrangement is expressly accepted.

My Pest Crew may send service-related calls, texts, or emails about scheduling, arrival, preparation, service reports, payment requests, safety instructions, follow-up, and other information needed to perform or administer the service.

9. Service photos and privacy

My Pest Crew may take job photos and create service records to document findings, treated areas, structural gaps, recommendations, and service completion. Personal information, service records, and photos are handled under the My Pest Crew Privacy Policy.

This section does not grant an unrestricted right to publish a customer's identity, likeness, private information, or identifying property details.

10. Service concerns and disputes

Customers and My Pest Crew are encouraged to try to resolve service disputes directly and in good faith. These Terms do not require mandatory arbitration or remove access to small-claims court or other rights available under applicable law.

If a customer believes agreed work was not performed, a charge is incorrect, or a service concern requires review, contact My Pest Crew at (773) 572-5661 or info@mypestcrew.com. My Pest Crew may review the accepted booking details, service report, communications, payment records, and other relevant service documentation.

A concern may be resolved through correction of agreed work, additional authorized work, a credit, a refund, or another appropriate resolution depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be limited or allows My Pest Crew to avoid responsibility for failing to perform the agreed service.

11. Website use and quote requests

Website content provides general information about My Pest Crew and its services. It does not replace the booking-specific summary, preparation instructions, or other accepted service details.

My Pest Crew owns or licenses the website text, graphics, branding, and other content except where another owner is identified. Website content may not be copied for unauthorized commercial use except as allowed by law.

A website inquiry does not authorize property entry. Booking acceptance and charges are governed by Section 1.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Illinois law to the extent Illinois law applies.

13. Changes to these Terms

My Pest Crew may update these general Terms when business practices or legal requirements change.

A revised general Terms document does not change an already accepted booking unless the customer expressly accepts the material change or the change is required by law.
