Chicago Rat Control With Ongoing Exterior Management

Problem Summary

My Pest Crew was called to a Chicago property with heavy exterior rat activity. The first inspection found roughly 10–15 active burrows, while nearby properties were also showing substantial activity. The goal was to reduce the activity on the serviced property while managing the continuing pressure around it.

What We Did

My Pest Crew completed the initial exterior rat service and returned to review how the property was responding. As conditions improved, the work moved into ongoing maintenance, with each visit adjusted to the level of activity present at that time. The service also included recommendations for property conditions that could support longer-term improvement.

Results

Later maintenance visits included periods with no active burrows on the serviced property, and the number of burrows has continued to decrease as property conditions improved. Maintenance continues while heavy surrounding-property pressure remains. Ongoing service helps respond when activity increases again and protects the progress already made.
