Winnetka Wall-Void Yellow-Jacket Treatment at an Exterior Entry Point

 ·
Brick home and curved raised planting wall in Winnetka.

Problem Summary

My Pest Crew found yellow-jacket activity concentrated at a small exterior opening leading into a wall void. Because the nest was concealed inside the structure, the service centered on the active entry point rather than removal of an exposed nest.

What We Did

The active opening was treated to reach the concealed activity inside the wall void. The serviced opening was then closed with copper mesh at the end of the visit. The rest of the exterior was also inspected, and no other active yellow-jacket areas were found. The copper-mesh closure was part of the pest-control work and was not a permanent structural repair.

Results

The serviced wall corner was treated and closed during the visit, and no additional service was needed afterward.
